Dave and Busters

Okay so yesterday was John Lui's (aka Branch Boy's) birthday so Friday night me, Cathy Wong (aka the Wongsta), and Amy Reynolds (aka Amelia Bedelia)(you only wish you had a nickname too!) met out at Desert Ridge Mall which is basically the coolest place ever. It's an outdoors mall that has live entertainment there every night (last night there was a guy playing Beatles songs, we heard "Blackbird" when we got there) , cool fire pits, and basically just really cool stores. Cathy got off work at 9:30 so I picked her up at that time from her house and we drove about 30 minutes just to get out to the mall. But anyways we were going to this over 18 arcade/restaurant/bar. It was my first experience getting carded to check my age, for some reason I felt very cool with all the little 16 and 17 year old teenagers looking on in jealousy as the hot door guy let us all in...haha suckers! But we went up stairs to where the bar and arcade was and me and Cathy split a plate of 10-piece Fried Shrimp. It was so good and whenever Cathy talked to the waiter she sounded demanding and mean which is funny because she didn't mean to. Amy and John sat with us since they already had Sushi before me and the Wongsta got there. Amy seemed a little tipsy even though it was John's 21st Birthday and not hers but it was funny to watch and see her almost cry.
After dinner it was 11 PM and so we went and played some arcade games until 12:30. We played a cool trivia game alot that you had to answer the questions really fast. I knew the answers I'm just not coordinated enough to hit the right buttons. Like one was "Which Kennedy did Siran Siran shoot?" The answer as everyone knows is Bobby, but I was antsy so I hit the first recognizable name and hit John Jr. So JFK was not in fact killed by the shooter on the knoll but Siran Siran his brother's killer.....yea.....I'm in college people. But we played a bunch of other cool games like boxing, a shooting game, and those risky try and hit this small thing with a coin. Amy of course is a pro at useless games so she won 2000 tickets at the roll the coin at an object thingy. We then went to the ticket store and we had 7,369 tickets. We were all going to get blenders, but then we saw these sweet silver and gold grills with huge diamonds on them so we got those instead. Amy slammed the ticket card on the counter and said "Give us 4 grills." I can only imagine if Cathy did it she'd say it 50 billion times more gangsta. But we wore them out to the car and were smiling at people, good times but I got home at 1:20 AM only to wake up at 6:30 for work.
